Net Zero Commitment
Luther Systems Net Zero Commitment
At Luther Systems, we recognize the urgent need for global action to combat climate change and limit global warming to 1.5°C, in line with the goals of the Paris Agreement. As part of our commitment to responsible and sustainable business practices, we are proud to announce our intention to achieve Net Zero greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by 2040, with science-aligned interim targets that reflect the latest climate science.
This commitment means:
- Reducing our Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions in line with the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) 1.5°C trajectory.
- Transitioning to 100% renewable electricity across our global operations by 2030.
- Engaging our suppliers and partners to support emissions reductions across our value chain.
- Offsetting any residual emissions through credible, verified carbon removal projects that align with best practices.
We are currently undertaking a full GHG emissions assessment and will submit our targets to the SBTi for validation. We are committed to transparency and will report our progress publicly through annual updates.
This commitment builds on our broader alignment with the UN Global Compact and the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 13: Climate Action.
