The calculation is based on the total number of cores per environment. The number of cores is based on the number or process runs and level of compute resource required.

Part 1: Cores for Network

Total number of Org Cores:
(Orgs) * (Peers per org) * (Cores per Peer)

Number of operationally separate organisations

Enter a number between 3 and 500.

Number of Peers in each organisation

Choose 1, 2 or 3.

Cores per Peer

Choose 2, 4 or 8.

Number of Process Runs

Enter a number between 1000 and 5,000,000.

Compute Resource per Process Run

Choose Small, Medium or Large.

Compute Resource for BC Network Ops

Choose Small, Medium or Large.

Part 2: Cores for Orderer

Total number of Orderer Cores:
(Peers in Orderer) * (Cores per Peer)

Number of Peers in Orderer

Choose 3, 5 or 7.

Cores per Peer

Choose 2, 4 or 8.

Number of Process Runs

Enter a number between 1000 and 5,000,000.

Compute Resource per Process Run

Choose Small, Medium or Large.
